Portraitserie von Obdachlosen in Kiew während der Corona Pandemie. Der Fotograf hat sie gebeten sich hinter dem Glas der Bahnhöfe fotografieren zu lassen. Er sagt: Ich porträtierte die Obdachlosen hinter dem Glas der Haltestellen und Unterführungen - das sind die Orte, an denen sie übernachten und leben. Das Glas ist aber auch symbolisch wie eine Wand zwischen uns und ihnen - wir sehen sie, aber wir hören sie nicht, sie sind wie Fische in Aquarien - isoliert von der Gesellschaft. Es ist nicht möglich, durch das Glas eine helfende Hand zu erreichen. Wir sympathisieren mit ihnen, wenn wir Ihnen während der Quarantäne von unseren Fenstern aus zuschauen, aber wir sind durch unsere komfortablen Wohnungen geschützt und sie blicken von unten zu unseren Fenstern hoch. / Portrait series of homeless people in Kiev during the Corona Pandemic. The photographer asked them to be photographed behind the glass of the train stations. He says: "I portrayed the homeless behind the glass of the stations and underpasses - these are the places where they stay and live. But the glass is also symbolic like a wall between us and them - we see them but we don't hear them, they are like fish in aquariums - isolated from society. It is not possible to reach a helping hand through the glass. We sympathize with them when we watch them from our windows during quarantine, but we are protected by our comfortable apartments and they look up to our windows from below.
