Die Überlieferung sagt, dass es dann Licht und Wohlstand für das Paar geben wird. / Two girls whirl under plates during a wedding ceremony in Kant, Kyrgyzstan. Tradition says that having young girls swirl under a plate full of traditional treats will bring light and prosperity to the new couple's life. The plates are layered with candies, cookies, apples, and a butter bread called Kete. They light candle on top of the bread.
